Signature Component

Collect e‑signatures inline and store them as files linked to database items.

The Signature Component brings professionalism and accountability to your apps by allowing users to sign directly inside NotionApps. Instead of relying on external tools or messy email approvals, signatures can be collected in-app and stored instantly in your Notion database. This makes it easy to handle workflows that require confirmation or agreement while keeping everything centralized and seamless.

Signatures are captured as images and saved to a Files & Media property in your database. You can configure the component for different contexts: Add Signature when creating a new page, Update Signature for editing an existing one, and Signature Viewer to display previously stored signatures. Whether you’re managing approvals, deliveries, or formal agreements, the Signature Component ensures sign-offs are securely tracked and tied to the right page in Notion.
